The AMEX Gold Card is a top pick for Q3 2022 because as the world is getting closer to normalcy this card will provide a lot of benefits. The Gold Card will help you earn a lot of points on dining and groceries. As more and more restaurants are opening and lifting restrictions you can earn 4x points per dollar on restaurants world wide and 4x points per dollar at US supermarkets. If you are slowly beginning to travel again, you’ll also earn 3x points per dollar on flights booked directly with airlines or in the AMEX travel portal. The Chase Sapphire Preferred is a great travel card because of the low annual fee of $95 and all the travel benefits it provides. If you’re planning on traveling a couple times this year the CSP is the perfect card for you. Currently they are offering 60k sign up bonus points after $4,000 spent in your first 3 months of account opening. You’ll also receive $50 annual hotel credit. It is a great all-around card because it provides 5x points on travel booked through Chase, 3x on dining and streaming services, and 3x on online grocery purchases. This is another great all around card because you can earn 3x back on dining but also receive travel protection and redeem your points for travel through the Chase portal.

Capital One Venture X
The Capital One Venture X has a current bonus of 75,000 with $4,000 spent in 3 months of opening the card. You’ll also receive a $300 annual travel credit, and $100 TSA/Global Entry credit. Since launching the Venture X has been one of the top sought after cards. Although the bonus isn’t as high as it was when it was initially launched but the bonus versus minimum spent is still competitive. The multipliers are 10x miles on hotels and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel, 5x miles on flights booked through Capital One Travel, 2x miles on all other purchases.
